The official Trade Night
Passport
At the world's biggest sports collectibles show, collectors played trivia, comped cards, joined live breaks, and spun daily prize wheels across 15 sponsor stations. No app download, straight from the browser.
The challenge
Make every sponsor booth a destination
Trade Nights pack hundreds of collectors into the Collectors Lounge, presented by eBay, for a few high-energy hours. Sponsors pay for presence, but in a room full of card breaks, trading tables, and giveaways, it's easy for a booth to get walked past.
The organisers needed a way to route every collector past every sponsor, get them actually doing each sponsor's activity, prove that traffic happened, and run prize redemption without paper tickets or queues. All without asking anyone to download an app mid-event.
The play
A passport that turns a lap of the room into a game
Every collector got a Trade Night Passport in their phone browser the moment they scanned the entry QR. Fifteen sponsor stations, from eBay to CGC to NBA Top Shot, each carried their own code and their own activity. Complete it, and a stamp landed on the passport instantly.
Rewards unlocked as the Passport filled: raffle entries, boosters, daily wheel spins, and a Full Passport Reward. Collectors always knew what the next few booths were worth, and prizes were verified and handed over on the spot at the redemption booth.

How it worked
From door scan to prize counter
Scan in at the door
Collectors scanned the Trade Night Passport QR at the entrance of the Collectors Lounge and their passport opened instantly in the phone browser. No app store, no account setup, no friction at the door.
Collect stamps at sponsor booths
Each of the 15 sponsor stations had its own QR code and its own activity: trivia questions, app downloads, surveys, and hands-on booth challenges. Complete the activity, earn the stamp, and it landed on the passport in real time.
Unlock raffle tiers
As stamps stacked up, rewards unlocked on the passport: raffle entries at 6 stamps, a raffle booster further in, a spin on the daily prize wheel, and a Full Passport Reward for visiting every station. Collectors could always see how many booths stood between them and the next unlock.
Claim prizes on the spot
Wheel spins and full-passport rewards were redeemed at the prize booth, verified straight from the participant's phone screen. Winners walked away with Topps and Panini packs, CGC Star Packs, Zion cases, and more. No paper tickets, no spreadsheets, no queues.
The activities
Every sponsor booth had a game of its own
A stamp was never just a scan. Each of the 15 stations carried its own poster and its own challenge, designed with the sponsor to get collectors doing the thing that booth actually cared about.
Comp a card with the eBay Price Guide, make a trade using it, and show a rep the completed trade to earn the stamp.
Each sponsor wrote their own question, from "what does a CGC Pristine 10 mean?" to 2000 NFL Draft trivia. Answer correctly, earn the stamp.
Download NBA Top Shot and claim a free pack, or jump into a live break on Loupe, then show a rep to get stamped.
Quick surveys like "show us your grail" and "help build the perfect collectibles app" turned stamps into product feedback and leads.

The rewards
Fresh raffles and a loaded prize wheel, every single night
Each of the three Trade Nights ran its own reward ladder, so the game reset and the room filled up again the next evening.
Raffle Starter & Booster
Six stamps earned a raffle entry each night. Keep collecting and a booster tier multiplied the entries. Over 1,400 raffle unlocks were claimed across the three nights.
Spin the wheel
Hit the stamp target and unlock a spin on the nightly prize wheel: Topps and Panini packs, CGC Star Packs, Zion and UltraPro cases, Minix statuettes, VIP RIPS spots, and a mystery prize. 433 spins were unlocked across the show.
Full Passport Reward
Visit every station in the lounge and a Full Passport Reward unlocked on the spot. 230 collectors went the distance and completed the entire Passport.

The results
What three nights of Trade Night Passports delivered
902 collectors joined the passport across the Trade Nights, with zero app downloads required.
5,327 stamps collected gave sponsors a measurable record of real foot traffic, not estimates.
230 collectors completed the full Passport, visiting every single sponsor station in the lounge.
358 prizes redeemed on the spot, verified digitally at the prize booth.
Every one of those numbers happened in the phone browser. Not a single participant had to install an app.
Sponsor value
Sponsors saw the traffic, not just felt it
The passport didn't just walk collectors past the booths. It got them playing each sponsor's activity: comping cards at eBay, taking grading trivia at CGC, downloading NBA Top Shot, joining live breaks on Loupe. Sponsors reported busier booths and far more completed activations than a logo placement has ever delivered.
Every one of the 15 sponsors also got their own login to the StampRise exhibitor portal, and it quickly became their favourite part of the show.
The exhibitor portal
- A live dashboard of booth visitors, refreshed daily across all three Trade Nights.
- Every stamp captured as a lead: names and emails from collectors who completed the booth's activity.
- Survey and trivia answers collected at their station, exportable after the show.
- No chasing the organiser for numbers. Sponsors pulled their own results each morning.
